ListenObjective: Select three resources to use for your course project.

Once you’ve researched the two works you’re analyzing for your exploration document, select three resources that provide information that is relevant to your theme. Then use the writing templates on this page to note details about each resource. You’ll use these details to create your citations and reference list later in this chapter.

Introduce Your Humanities Resources

On this page, you will use a writing template to introduce the three resources you’re using to research your two works and your theme.

Before you begin drafting your exploration document, identify the author, date, title, and source of each of your resources. Doing this now will make it easier to create a reference list at the end of your document. For each resource, include the following information:

Author(s): Whose work is this? Was it written by a single author, or multiple authors? Make sure you include all the authors listed.

Date: When was the work published? You might have to do a bit of digging to find the publication date for certain webpages.

Title: What is the name of this work? If it’s an article, what is the title of the article?

Source: Where can your reader find this work? Identify the book, journal, or website. If the resource appears on a website, copy the URL and paste it below.
