While foreclosure is the most sought after remedy for a lender, a lender can also take possession of the mortgaged property or file in court for the appointment of a receiver. Why do you think lenders are more readily willing to seek foreclosure than the other two (2) remedies, i.e. possession or appointment of a receiver?
