This week, you explored select work groups such as executives, direct sales, and highly compensated professionals. Choose one workgroup and its compensation layout (e.g., executive pay in stock options, or high commission payouts to direct sales professionals). Then, assess this compensation layout in detail and its effect on performance. Be sure to include both intrinsic and extrinsic compensation. Think of today’s diverse workforce as you formulate your response and conduct research. Also, critique the global variations of these types of pay. Explain how performance measurement is considered among a diverse team.
