Assignment Part 2:
Based on what you learned and gain from wireless technology and communications from the literature review in Part 1 above, assume a type of business that you have or want to develop that would be suitable for the types of wireless technologies covered in your literature review. Then prepare three detailed wireless network diagrams to support telecommunications efforts at the home level, local business level in a building, and a wide area that supports multiple buildings with the assumption that your business is located in several locations. All three diagrams will need to show support of your business and include and is not limited to:
- Routers
- Secure XML Routers
- Security Gateways
- XML Accelerators
- Load Balancers
- Corporate or Business Lines
- Telecommunication Links
- All Business Related Objects Connected to support Business Communications
- Any other technology based on technology covered in the literature review.

Important Note: Researching the internet for potential wireless technology and communications to support telecommunications is a good way to find other potential research topics that spark interest and desire for you to explore. Also consider using a combination of topic areas as the goal of this project is to get a good foundation of the material in efforts to design some networks and diagrams.
Important Note: It is highly recommended that any student in areas of computer and information technology have access to drawing software. These software packages may include Microsoft Visio or Smart Draw. In the short term, Microsoft Word 2007, 2010, and 2013 includes SmartArt tools which can be useful to prepare diagrams. For the Mac, OmniGroup’s OmniGraffle is an excellent choice at a modest cost.
General Paper Requirements:
- Paper will need to include an APA cover page.
- Paper will need to include a 100 to 150-word abstract.
- Paper will need to be a minimum of 2,500 words not including the cover page, abstract, and reference page.
- Paper will need to be supported with a minimum of three academic resources.
- Paper will need to follow all general formatting to meet APA standards of professional writing and research documentation including a complete reference page.
- Diagrams will need to be embedded into the main paper completed during module 8 sectioned just before the conclusion of your work and content.
- Include an overall conclusion to support the rationale as to why your network diagrams are best for your assumed business.
